Positive, I had a great stay! The owner was super helpful, giving us a local map right at check-in. Our room had a lovely view of the garden and is spacious. It's a treat to sleep on tatami mats. Everything was spotless and the shared bathrooms were well-maintained.

Super cozy stay with charm!
Really enjoyed our time here! The owner is super friendly and gave us great dining recs. The shared baths were always clean, and we loved the hot tub after long days exploring. Only bummer was the Wi-Fi signal could be a bit weak in the room. Overall, felt like a real home away from home!

great experience but a few things to fix
The place was exceptionally clean! I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and felt completely safe. The outdoor garden was a beautiful escape right in the hotel, enhancing my relaxation during the stay. Additionally, the host went above and beyond with recommendations, ensuring I made the most of my visit.
However, the Wi-Fi in my room was a bit spotty, which was inconvenient at times.

The place was perfect for our family with two babies. The owner was super friendly and made us feel right at home. The helpful recommendations for local dining made our stay even more enjoyable. The quiet surroundings were a blessing after a day of exploring Kyoto.
For dads, it would be great to have a more spacious changing area for babies.

The owner’s hospitality truly stands out, providing helpful recommendations and a warm atmosphere. Clean facilities, including the shared showers, were well-maintained and the perfect spot to unwind after long days. A significant plus was the property's location, making it easy to access various bus lines and nearby attractions. However, the futon, while comfortable, could benefit from an upgrade as it felt a bit thin at times. Also, quietness was sometimes disturbed by the noise from other guests.
